Questions About FrontAgent

A practical starting point for owners and staff reviewing the product.

What Is FrontAgent?

FrontAgent is a phone-first receptionist and customer-request platform in development. Its planned workflow is to answer inbound calls, assist from approved business information, capture details, and connect each request to an appropriate next step. Restaurants are the Phase 1 priority.

Which Languages Will Phase 1 Telephone Service Support?

English only. Translated website information, when available, will help readers understand the product; it will not mean that non-English telephone or customer service is available.

How Will Restaurant Orders Be Handled?

The planned workflow captures items, quantities, required options, pickup or other approved fulfillment details, and customer instructions. It checks against the restaurant’s approved information, reads back the details, and seeks confirmation before the approved handoff. It must not invent a price, availability, or delivery promise.

What Happens When the Agent Cannot Answer?

The planned response is to explain that the information is unavailable, ask a clarifying question where useful, and transfer only when an authorized person is available. Otherwise, it can capture a message or callback request under the restaurant’s rules. A callback request is not a guaranteed callback time.

Does FrontAgent Replace Restaurant Staff?

The aim is to support staff with routine calls and organized requests. People remain responsible for exceptions, decisions, and service delivery. FrontAgent is designed to bring a person into the conversation when the business rules require it.

Are Accounts, Orders, and Payments Live?

No. This website and the client-access screens are prototypes. They do not activate accounts or accept real restaurant orders. Phase 1 is designed around the restaurant’s existing approved payment process; FrontAgent does not collect or store full card details. POS and payment integrations are future capabilities.

Is Gourmet Kitchen a Customer?

C-001 Gourmet Kitchen is a fictional sample used to illustrate a client website and dashboard. Its menu, people, orders, and activity are sample content, not evidence of a live client or production service.

Where Can I Find Pricing and the Next Step?

The Pricing page explains the factors that will shape a service plan. Prices, plan names, trials, and enrollment are not published. Use Get Started to review the concept and prepare business information without submitting it.
